Dean Hoegger



Dean Hoegger: As a ceramics instructor, I love to say yes. I understand the therapeutic value of working with clay and encourage my students to explore this medium while discovering their creative talents.  I fully support the exploratory ideas of my students and help each one to find new ways to grow as an artist.  
I have exhibited throughout the Midwest since 1976.  Recent clay work ranges from wheel thrown porcelain vessels to hand built Raku sculptures. As a teacher, Dean taught fourth and fifth graders in Sturgeon Bay and teaches weekly pottery classes and weekend workshops for high school students and adults.










Dean has recently retired from 30 years of classroom teaching and has more time for his pottery classes and workshops. You can contact him in the following ways:
