Kris Kolinski: I began my journey into the muddy world of clay in 1977 when I took a pottery class in college. As someone who struggled previously in the academic world, I found my experience working with clay centered me and my mind. After college I taught for a few years at a community college and loved it. I began working in construction to fund an MFA. After 25 years of carpentry I am up to elbows again in clay (no MFA). Below are some recent pieces for sale at Clay on Steele.
